Hong Kong-born conductor and pianist Peggy Wu is currently a Jette Parker Artist at the Royal Opera House. In the 2024/25 season, she makes her Royal Opera conducting debut in the Linbury Theatre with Telemann’s Pimpinone and her main stage debut conducting scenes from Luisa Miller and Il barbiere di Siviglia. A conducting fellow of the Royal Philharmonic Society Women Conductors Programme and a semi-finalist in the International Conducting Competition Rotterdam, Peggy has worked with leading orchestras including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, Sinfonia Rotterdam, Berlin Sinfonietta and Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra.
